Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is scheduled to hold separate meetings with the leaders of three political parties—BNP, Jamaat, and the National Citizens Party (NCP)—on Sunday afternoon. The discussions will focus on the country's current political situation and the upcoming national election.

According to a press briefing by the Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam on Saturday, the meetings are planned as follows: the meeting with Jamaat will take place at 4:30 PM, followed by the NCP at 6:00 PM, and finally with the BNP at 7:30 PM.

These meetings come amid heightened political tension, particularly after Gono Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur was injured in a clash between Jatiya Party and Gono Odhikar Parishad activists on Friday night, which was quelled by a baton charge from the army and police.
